The Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA) was established in 2013.

The charity supports international wildlife conservation. It does this by funding overseas conservation efforts as well as backing UK based education and conservation programmes. Overseas, ZSEA supports work such as helping to save some of the world’s most endangered animals. These include animals such as snow leopards, where our funding has helped create specially protected zones in Mongolia, to tigers, lemurs and lions. In the UK we fund work at both Africa Alive! in Suffolk and Banham Zoo in Norfolk. Our successes have included breeding critically endangered vultures and tigers. The work at the zoological parks also funds efforts to educate and inform a wide variety of people on environmental and conservation matters.
