We are here to educate and start the conversation about wellbeing and all things suicide prevention.
OLLIE was founded in 2016 by three Hertfordshire parents who had each tragically lost a son to suicide. OLLIE now delivers wellbeing, prevention and intervention events, training, and talks with a focus on supporting young people (and all those who support them) to improve and maintain their wellbeing and keep them safe from suicidal thoughts.
We regularly run training and awareness sessions that support students, young people and their parents or carers as well as health and education professionals. Our online sessions always offer fully funded places.
Prescription Safe Plans:
The OLLIE Foundation has designed a new approach of support for those taking drugs known to cause iatrogenic harm, including antidepressants. In addition to all the training and resources needed, OLLIE's safer prescribing initiative provides a Prescription Safe Plan to support patients to stay safe and navigate any side effects more effectively along with supporting healthcare providers.
The funds you help us raise enable us to train members of local communities in suicide prevention and intervention, along with supporting our wellness workshops and initiatives such as the Prescription Safe Plans.
