The Feathers Association

The Feathers Association is an award-winning youth and community charity working in some of the most deprived parts of the country. We exist to create opportunity, connection, and consistent support for people from underserved communities of all ages, particularly children and young people facing disadvantage, exclusion, or a lack of belonging.

The charity was founded by the Prince of Wales in 1934 and, for over 90 years, we have supported young people and their communities across London from adverse childhood backgrounds and family settings to discover their self-worth, giving them hope and purpose in life, enabling them to make positive contributions to their community. We help them to cope with the transition from adolescence to adulthood and to understand the issues which affect their lives, and the lives of others.
