The 4Ed Foundation
Time is against families living with MND. 4Ed proactively supports those adapting to ever-changing circumstances, helping to relieve the financial pressures that come with it. We are committed to improving the quality of life and independence for families
The 4ED Foundation supports anyone living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) or caring for someone who is. Established, after his diagnosis, by former professional rugby player Ed Slater, the Foundation provides grants, compassion, and community to individuals and families affected by MND, covering vital equipment, home adaptations, access to medical care, and much-needed respite or family time. A diagnosis of MND can overturn life as people know it. Through 4ED we can bring stability, dignity and hope at a time when uncertainty and fear can dominate.
Since its establishment in 2022, the 4ED Foundation has given more than 120 life-changing grants, worth more than £275,000.
The 4ED Foundation is a registered charity #1165303 and is registered with the fundraising regulator.
