The Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC) are there for all 37,000 vision-impaired children and young people in England and Wales. We aim for every child with vision-impairment and their families to live their lives without limits.
Due to lower prevalence, the vision-impaired community is seriously disadvantaged with needs overlooked and inequity of statutory provision for individuals and their families. This impacts emotional well-being, social development and ultimately, employment and life prospects.
Our services combat this and include education, emotional support, recreation, community activities & more: all designed to promote skills, independence and confidence in vision-impaired children and young people.
