Plushealth is a small charity with a big heart ♥️♥️♥️

We inform, empower, support and improve the lives of people living with HIV, their HIV negative partners, family members, close friends and carers.

Our vision is to promote emotional, and physical wellbeing by providing practical help and support so everyone living with HIV can live healthy active lives, free from stigma and prejudice.

Whilst HIV treatment and care have significantly improved over the 40+ years since the virus was identifed, sadly HIV remains a highly stigmatised and feared health condition. There are around 107,000 people living with HIV, around 4,000 don't know they have HIV which means ongoing support is critical for those who are newly diagnosed. 

Peer support is a powerful and extrmely important part of HIV care, as offering the opportunity to talk to someone with lived experience helps reduce stigma and has a very beneficial impact for both newly diagnosed individuals and also those who find it a challenge to live well with HIV.
