Only A Pavement Away is the national charity that supports people looking to rebuild their lives through employment opportunities in hospitality. The charity acts as a vital bridge between forward thinking employers in the hospitality industry and referral partners working with individuals facing homelessness, and prison leavers, to help them rebuild their lives through long term, stable employment.

Only A Pavement Away helps individuals get from where they are to where they want to be through employment opportunities, financial support and tailored learning & development.

To date, the charity has placed over 800 people into work, and supported over 5,000 through tailored learning & development, adding an approximate value of £32M to the economy through reduced government support, financial independence, and household expenditure.

Our vision is to support 5,000 individuals each year through tailored learning & development and employment opportunities by 2030.
