The Licensed Trade Charity has been providing free of charge support for over 200 years to those who currently working, or have previously worked in the licensed drinks industry. Access to a variety of emotional, practical and financial help is just one touch away via the 24/7 helpline and mobile app. Services range from housing information, help with cost of repairs or furnishings, support with emotional and physical health, online training courses and employment guidance to help individuals reach their potential.  We are honest with how we can help and care about making a positive difference in other people’s lives. This passion for others is woven into the fabric of who we are and what we do. The Licensed Trade Charity was first established in 1793 and we have been supporting the licensed trade since. We have established a number of commercial operations and investments that generate the income we use to fund our charitable activities. Our goal is to help people in the trade to get back on their feet and to help equip’ them in becoming more self-reliant.
