Our partners work in Syria, Turkey & Bosnia, filling the gaps in shattered education systems, promoting peace and tolerance and giving expert mental health care. Our work provides children with critical opportunities to heal, learn and build a brighter future.
Firefly supports around 2,500 children per month in Syria, Turkey and Bosnia. With countless more benefitting from our online resources and the 60+ teachers trained and mentored annually by Firefly.
Right now, violence and turmoil worldwide are having a devastating impact on children’s education. Education empowers children. It gives them social skills and self-confidence, as well as learning, so they can imagine a brighter future.
