Construction Youth Trust

Construction Youth Trust (CYT) bridges the gap between young people and the incredible opportunities and employers in the construction and built environment sector. Social mobility is at the heart of its work and it prioritises working with young people from underrepresented groups, low-income backgrounds and those who are facing significant barriers to employment. 

CYT creates awareness of career opportunities and raises aspirations. It facilitates meaningful engagement with employers and overcomes barriers. Through targeted support, world-of-work experiences, skills development and coaching, CYT builds confidence, widens horizons and connects young people with inspiring career opportunities. 

CYT helps young people recognise their full career potential and discover opportunities that may not have previously been presented to them.
