Childhood Eye Cancer Trust
Providing ongoing support to anyone affected by retinoblastoma
The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) is the only UK charity solely dedicated to helping families and individuals affected by retinoblastoma (Rb), a rare form of eye cancer affecting children and babies predominantly under the age of six.
Approximately one child a week in the UK is diagnosed with Rb, and families travel miles every time they need to receive treatment at one of the only two hospitals in the UK that treat Rb.
Our mission is to save eyes, save sight and save lives. We do this by providing support to those who need us for as long as they need us, raise awareness and fund research to reduce the negative impact of this disease.
