Run through the heart of London and help save lives! We have a few places left in the Vitality British 10K, taking place Sunday 12th July, and we'd love for you to join us.

It is estimated that as many as 15 million children die or remain seriously ill every year through potentially treatable or preventable cardiac diseases. Chain of Hope exists to provide these children with the treatment to which they often simply do not have access.

We have been helping provide this treatment since 1995 and we do it in two distinct ways:

• By working with our partner hospitals around the world to transport children from developing and war torn countries for heart surgery that they cannot access at home.
• By mobilising volunteer medical teams into developing countries to treat children, whilst stimulating the development of cardiac services for local populations. We provide teaching and training programmes while developing local infrastructure in countries such as Uganda, Egypt, Jamaica, Kosovo, Mozambique, El Salvador and Ethiopia.
