We have been caring for Bristol’s pets and wildlife since 1887, helping, healing and homing thousands of vulnerable animals each year, from abandoned, stray and unwanted pets to sick and injured wildlife.

We are the oldest and largest local animal charity in Bristol. Our dedicated team works hard to offer shelter, specialist care and a second chance at a happy life for thousands of pets. We’re also here for pet owners in our community who need support and advice.
