Augustinians of the Assumption

The Augustinians of the Assumption is a Roman Catholic congregation founded in 1845 in France. 

Since its establishment, we have grown the community globally - founding parishes in Africa, Asia, the Americas, Europe and UK.

Our charity is focused on advancing public benefit particularly through charitable work in the areas of:

• Education, through helping young people in schools in Africa and Asia

• Managing orphanages in Vietnam

• Partnering with charities, like the Kaloob Foundation (also founded by the Philippine Assumptionists) who raise money for the poor and for emergency/disaster relief 

• Partnering with Emmanuel House in the UK who help to end homelessness in Nottingham

• Organising religious activities for the youth of our churches

We are proud, that the community events run by and for the youth in our parishes, such as pilgrimages, cycling trips and running events help us to gather, strengthen and advocate for young people in our parishes.

We serve, love and run together - enriching our relationships through faith and action, to build a Christian life and fundraise for the global initiatives of our Church.
