We're here to help Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust provide excellent care at the heart of the community.
The Trust is the largest provider of community NHS healthcare across Sussex, with expert teams providing essential medical, nursing and therapeutic care to adults, children and families – serving a population of 1.4 million people and caring for 9,000 people every single day.
Together with the kind support of the community, we, Sussex Community NHS Charity, raise funds to provide the Trust with grants to cover the costs of projects which go above and beyond what the NHS core funding provides for.
We provide grants to:
• Improve the physical and mental health of patients, staff and volunteers,
• Support staff development to help them provide excellent care,
• Improve the equipment and facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of our patients,
• Create patient and family friendly care environments, and
• Advance our understanding through medical research.
