The start line is positioned at historical Knebworth House for a dramatic effect, and the half marathon route explores the beautiful gardens of Knebworth Park before leading runners out to the surrounding countryside. The Hertfordshire 10K is a Road closed event which gives runners a rare opportunity to have the roads for themselves, this is unprecedented in this neighbourhood. So get out there and enjoy it.
Knebworth House is a grade II listed house set in acres of beautiful gardens and parkland. Knebworth House has welcomed many music artists for major open-air concerts, including Robbie Williams, Oasis, Led Zepellin and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The grounds are home to popular tourist attractions including an adventure playground and dinosaur trail.
