Our mission is to empower young people to thrive as they navigate the challenging transition to adulthood. We use hospital settings as opportunities to reach young people aged 11-15 who have been affected by violence and exploitation and provide the specialist, trauma-informed support they need to be healthy, safe and happy.

Redthread currently works in 13 hospitals across London, Birmingham and Nottingham and supports over 1,300 young people every year. 97% of the young people we support do not return to hospital with a violent injury in the following year. We also deliver the Kings Adolescent Outreach Project, and The Social Switch Project- which is a partnership with social business Catch22.
