River Arun, past Arundel Castle and up along the South Downs Way before heading back to the finish line.
You will be treated like royalty on your journey with fully stocked pitstops, laden with food and drinks, and tireless support from our crew and medics.
This is a challenge for all, inclusive of all ages, experience, and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, patient plodder or weekend walker – take on 100km in one go, or 50km in one
day via the coast or castle.
We exist to restore a sustainable relationship between humanity and the Ocean. Our experience has taught us to tackle the full range of human actions threatening the Ocean. No ordinary NGO, Ocean Generation combines the disruptive energy of a youth collective with years of experience in storytelling through science and film. We are proud that our Ocean Intelligence youth engagement programmes have been endorsed by the Intergovernmental Oceanic Commission of UNESCO as a project under the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. our Youth Outreach Programme is at the heart of what we do. In 2021/22 we finished the development of a suite of three initiatives, targeted by age from 3-25 years old. Content progresses from a toe in the water for the very youngest to a full immersion experience.
We seek to engage youth in the wonder of the Ocean and then progressively develop knowledge and eventually stimulate collective behaviour-change actions appropriate for each age group.
