The Principality Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in Europe. It is Wales’ largest mass-participation and multi-charity fundraising event and the second largest half in the UK. Its flat, fast course passes all the city’s most breath-taking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and stunning Cardiff Bay. Thousands of spectators turn out to cheer on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion.

At NYAS we’re on a mission to improve the lives of care experienced children and young people, working to ensure they feel safe, heard, and involved in decisions being made about their lives.
NYAS is a leading rights-based charity serving care experienced children and young people across England and Wales. Advocacy is at the heart of what we do, and over the course of our 40 year history we have broadened the scope of our services to include activities that support children directly (e.g. befriending, legal representation, return interviews, mental health advocacy and project based work), and indirectly such as inspection of children’s homes and training for professionals.

Register for Cardiff Half Marathon

Please get in touch with fundraising@nyas.net for support in your preparation for the race, hints and tips for training and fundraising and any queries about registration or running the race. 

 

By registering for a place at the Cardiff Half, NYAS will purchase your place at the event for you for FREE, as well as provide you with a NYAS running vest, when you are agree to riase a minimum of £275 for NYAS.

If you need to drop out of the race, we will request a contribution charge of £50 from you to cover the cost of the registration for the place that NYAS has paid for (RRP £95).
