The event organisers pride themselves on being runners themselves and have designed a route that spans the largely flat stunning city as well as the beautiful countryside. Combine this fast route combined with enthusiastic support from the ever so friendly locals and hydration/refreshment stations and it makes an unforgettable event. "Nerve Tumours UK provides support and information, as well as campaigns and raises awareness on behalf of over 26,500 people in the UK who have Neurofibromatosis (NF1 and NF2) and Schwannomatosis. We’re here to improve lives for people with nerve tumours, while working towards the day when these conditions will be cured. More and more people than ever before are fundraising and challenging themselves to go the extra mile, cycle the extra kilometre, or hike the next peak for people living with nerve tumours!
