The event organisers pride themselves on being runners themselves and have designed a route that spans the largely flat stunning city as well as the beautiful countryside. Combine this fast route combined with enthusiastic support from the ever so friendly locals and hydration/refreshment stations and it makes an unforgettable event. Martlets is a local charity providing essential care to people affected by terminal illness in Brighton and Hove, and surrounding areas. Our expert teams provide the very best care and support, helping patients and their loved ones to live life to the full during the precious time they have together.
Along with excellent clinical care on our inpatient unit Martlets provides wellbeing services, counselling and rehabilitation. We deliver 80% of our care in the community, in people’s homes, helping patients and their loved ones stay together in familiar surroundings for as long as possible.
