Beat those Winter blues and race around the inspiring grounds of London Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the flat and fast course is the perfect opportunity for a chip timed personal best. You can chose to run a quick 5k or take on a full 10k.
As always with a RunThrough event each kilometer will be accurately marked out and there will be plenty of signs and marshals around the course to keep you going all the way to the finish!
Learn to Love to Read is a small charity targeting socially disadvantaged children within Wandsworth who are struggling to develop the core skill of literacy. Research shows low literacy is linked to poverty and social exclusion and that making children confident readers is the easiest way to improve their life opportunities. To work towards our vision of making “every child a reader’ we provide reading materials, organise early literacy classes (0–4-year-olds), deliver regular parent talks and workshops and offer weekly one-to-one support to primary-age children to improve reading skills and build confidence.
