The Principality Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in Europe. It is Wales’ largest mass-participation and multi-charity fundraising event and the second largest half in the UK. Its flat, fast course passes all the city’s most breath-taking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and stunning Cardiff Bay. Thousands of spectators turn out to cheer on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion.
The Huntington's Disease Association is a charity that provides care, support and information to people affected by Huntington's in England and Wales. They have a team of Specialist Huntington's Disease Advisers who all come from healthcare backgrounds and are there to offer advice, provide a listening ear, coordinate health and social care professionals and support all members of the family at any stage of their Huntington's disease journey. They provide training for care homes and healthcare professionals and educate people in schools and the work place about the disease. The Huntington's Disease Association champions people's rights by influencing policy and decision makers to help those with Huntington's disease live a better life.
