Our Challenge

We would like you to take 8,000 steps every day during the month of July. You can walk, run, skip, play golf, pop to the shops, it doesn’t matter; every step counts and every step makes a difference.

Your support will enable us to help more people living with oesophageal cancer or Barrett’s oesophagus; to raise more awareness of the early symptoms of these conditions; to increase rates of early diagnosis and ultimately, save lives.

Fundraising

There is no fundraising target, just raise whatever you can.

How to take part

• Register for the challenge below. Your registration fee includes a Big Step Challenge medal which will be posted to you on completion of your challenge
• Set up a fundraising page online and share it with friends and family – encourage them to take part too.
• Use any fitness tracker to record your steps each day during the month of July and at the end of the challenge send us a record. Then just wait to receive your medal in the post.
