The Principality Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in Europe. It is Wales’ largest mass-participation and multi-charity fundraising event and the second largest half in the UK. Its flat, fast course passes all the city’s most breath-taking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and stunning Cardiff Bay. Thousands of spectators turn out to cheer on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion.

At Grassroots Suicide Prevention, we believe that most suicides are preventable with timely intervention and the right support. Our lived experience means we know how it feels to be in crisis and how it feels lose someone to suicide. So, we empower people to help keep themselves and others safe from suicide. We do this by connecting, educating, and campaigning throughout the UK:
EDUCATING
We offer bespoke and evidence-based consultation and training, co-designed to empower individuals, organisations, and communities to develop the skills and confidence to help save lives.
CONNECTING
We listen to people at risk of suicide and connect them with support through our Stay Alive app, resources, tools, and wherever people engage with our services, communications, and fundraising.
CAMPAIGNING
We help remove the stigma around suicide and raise awareness through campaigning on the ground and influencing at a strategic level.
