The Chester half marathon is famous for being an enjoyable event and has won many awards over the years including the Runner's World best marathon of the year and sweatshop's best mass participation award.
Every year in the UK over 2,500 people sustain a spinal cord injury, and there are an estimated 50,000 spinal cord injured people in the UK alone.
