The Principality Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in Europe. It is Wales’ largest mass-participation and multi-charity fundraising event and the second largest half in the UK. Its flat, fast course passes all the city’s most breath-taking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and stunning Cardiff Bay. Thousands of spectators turn out to cheer on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion.

Sightsavers' vision is of a world where no one is blind from avoidable causes and where visually impaired people participate equally in society.
Worldwide 2.2 billion people have a visual impairment, but almost half of this is preventable or treatable. We believe nobody should be blind from avoidable causes, and we want everybody, no matter where they live, to be able to access eye treatment when they need it, regardless of who they are or where they live.
Your can help us change lives by fundraising for and supporting Sightsavers. The money you raise will help fund crucial projects in some of the poorest parts of the world. We work hard to prevent sight loss, restore sight and fight for the rights of people with disabilities to go to school, find a job and take part fully in society.
