Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. We support families across Surrey, south-west London and north-west London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional, and medical care. Our purpose-built children’s hospice, Christopher’s in Guildford is the only children’s hospice in Surrey and first opened its doors in November 2001. It costs £10 million a year to run our hospices and just 30% of that income comes from government funding, so we rely on the generosity of supporters like you to keep the service running.
