A good event for the charity runner held in the Scottish capital, a city with a wealth of culture, castles and beautiful parks. The marathon has been running for many years now and should boast to be one of the UK's best, definitely a good place to start your charity running career.
The starting pens are always well looked after and you will quickly see a number of friendly charity runners dotted around that you can start chatting to. The course is amazing, especially for the charity runner.
This is a well known marathon so you should be able to easily get people talking about it. Look for at least £1,250 plus as your fundraising target. Check out the run for charity fundraising A to Z for some great ideas to help you reach your target.
You will have fantastic support around this course, the Edinburgh crowd really does get behind this fantastic event.

Good sign up process and as a charity runner you seem to be well catered for. The organisation on the day is good, and a very nice medal, quite different to most others out there.
