This awesome race holds the start and finish line at the historic harbourside of Bristol. The route scenic, and runners follow sea-level paths past the Harbourside ans onto the portway, dipping into the the beautiful Avon Gorge, and a couple of trips under Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, travelling along Cumberland Rd followd by a quick loop of the old city befre returning for the finale at anchor Rd.
The magic of the Portway at the beginning of the route is that it spreads runners of different abilities and speeds out early in the half marathon, so it is ideal for all runners of differing experiencesand abilities. A great charity running event!
