Chicken Tikka Kebabs

Full of lean protein to keep your muscles going and packing a spicy punch, these will satisfy your curry cravings and make a fantastic starter. Rocket leaves are full of vitamins and iron so add an excellent accompaniment. A really nice light snack if you are craving something naughty before or after a training session.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 1 skinless chicken breast or 4 skinless chicken thigh fillets
  • 1 desert spoon full of tikka paste
  • 1 desert spoon full of 0% fat greek yoghurt
  • Small handful fresh coriander
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • Salad to serve
  • Method

  • First cut the chicken into long strips
  • Mix the tikka paste, yoghurt, and finely grated ginger and garlic
  • Marinade the chicken for as long as possible in the past
  • Cook under a hot grill until cooked through
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Serve on a bed of lettuce with chopped coriander
