Cheats low fat Creme Brulee

Yes it really is possible, a creme brulee without all the fatty cream! This one uses our favourite 0% fat greek yoghurt, and whilst it may not quite match the real McCoy, its pretty tasty and a great desert after a any run or training session.

Ingredients

  1. 1 punnet raspberries
  2. 300g 0%fat greek yoghurt
  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  4. 1 tablespoon runny honey
  5. 4 desert spoons full of brown sugar e.g. demurrer

 

 

Method

  1. Put the raspberries into the bottom of 4 ramekin dishes, and crush them with a teaspoon
  2. Mix the vanilla bean paste and honey with the 0% fat greek yoghurt, and divide it between the 4 dishes, spooning on top of the raspberries
  3. Smooth off the top of each and sprinkle over the brown sugar into an even layer on top of each
  4. Melt the sugar with a blow torch or place immediately under a very hot grill for 2 minutes
  5. Cool in the fridge before serving
