When a child has a serious illness, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it, for as long as is needed. We support the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents.
Your support is key to us being able to reach more families, through 2022 and beyond, and allows us to continue our vital work.
£5 could buy fun arts and crafts activities to keep a sick child entertained.

£26 is enough to pay for an hour’s practical and emotional support to a family caring for a seriously ill child, helping them make the most of their precious time.
£182 pays for a day’s visit from a Family Support Worker which allows parents to do chores, look after other family members, relax or simply sleep, safe in the knowledge that their child is being looked after by someone they trust who understands their needs.
£624 pays for an hour of support a week for six months for one family from one of our expert Family Support Workers, who is often with the family from diagnosis to bereavement. This continuity is invaluable to families.
