Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women with approximately 1 in 9 women diagnosed. This means that every year in the UK, over 55,000 individuals are diagnosed – that equals 150 people a day. At Prevent Breast Cancer, we believe we can stop the problem before it starts. Unlike many cancer charities, rather than finding a cure, we’re entirely dedicated to preventing future generations from ever being diagnosed.
Prevent Breast Cancer funds ground-breaking research solely aimed at the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. We promote early diagnosis, healthier lifestyles, and work together with others to influence change in breast cancer services.
At Prevent Breast Cancer, we will make breast cancer a preventable disease for future generations. We predict, We prevent, We protect. Our purpose is in our name, Prevent Breast Cancer.
