PACSO is a small charity based in West Sussex providing much needed respite and support to parents and carers of children and young people (aged 0-25) who have special educational needs, disabilities, and complex health issues. We provide life enhancing opportunities for our children and young people who often face exclusion and unique daily challenges, helping them feel part of the community, improving their emotional wellbeing, independence and the chance to thrive in the ambitious and inclusive environment, facilitated by our specialist Play Team at PACSO.
Children and young people with special educational needs must overcome physical, emotional, and neurological disabilities, often exacerbated by complex health issues.
They face exclusion and unique challenges daily. For their parents and carers, it is exhausting and frustrating. Our respite care offers everyone the opportunity to recharge, and to enjoy a time and place designed specifically for them to thrive.
All PACSO activities are designed to be inclusive and fun, to build resilience, independence self-esteem and for our children and young people to feel empowered. We provide a diverse choice of clubs and activities to meet the wide range of needs of children we support, both in secure school settings and out and about in the community.
