Established in 1982, Oxford Head Injury Services has over 30 years’ history of supporting those affected by acquired brain injury. The Activity and Rehabilitation Centre in Kennington offers a range of activities such as Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Arts and Music Therapy and more to enhance socialisation and promote rehabilitation back into everyday community life.
We extend our reach beyond our physical centre, providing comprehensive community support services across Oxfordshire. This ensures that individuals residing in remote areas or facing mobility challenges can still access the support they require, right in the comfort of their homes.
In our commitment to raising awareness about brain injury, we actively engage with professionals through specialised training sessions and organise outreach events in schools, colleges, and universities. By educating both professionals and the broader public, we aim to break down barriers, dispel myths, and foster a more inclusive and understanding society.
