Welcoming our new Derbyshire Dales at Chatsworth House Trail run and it’s going to be one to remember!
The race begins at the iconic Golden Gates, setting a majestic tone as you make your way toward the stunning Chatsworth House, the ancestral home of the Devonshire family for 17 generations.
Towards St. Peter's Church: After passing the house, you'll cross the bridge leading to St. Peter's Church, surrounded by picturesque countryside. Manners Wood: Experience a delightful downhill stretch followed by a gentle climb through the enchanting Manners Wood, where the natural beauty truly shines.
River Wye & River Derwent: The route takes you alongside the serene River Wye, then across to the River Derwent, providing a mix of easy running and breathtaking scenery as you circle back toward Chatsworth House.
Fern-Covered Hills: After completing the first half, you'll tackle the lush, fern-covered hills and drystone walls that characterize this stunning landscape.
Reservoir Loop: The course includes a loop around the reservoir that feeds the historic waterfall, offering a moment to appreciate the tranquility of the area.
Final Stretch: The trails guide you back toward the finish line, where you'll feel a sense of accomplishment amidst the beauty of Chatsworth.
