The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK's favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country's most vibrant cities, the race gets bigger and better every year. Renowned for its buzzing atmosphere and roaring crowd support, the course winds through the city streets, finishing up on the spectacular Brighton seafront. The marathon is just one part of the Brighton Marathon Weekend, an event that also encompasses The Mini Mile Races, the BM10k and the Brighton Marathon Exhibition.

Martlets is a local charity providing essential care to people affected by terminal illness in Brighton and Hove, and surrounding areas. Our expert teams provide the very best care and support, helping patients and their loved ones to live life to the full during the precious time they have together.
Along with excellent clinical care on our inpatient unit Martlets provides wellbeing services, counselling and rehabilitation. We deliver 80% of our care in the community, in people’s homes, helping patients and their loved ones stay together in familiar surroundings for as long as possible.
