This is the place where for the last 35 years our amazing doctors, nurses and volunteers have looked after the people that matter to us most - loved ones, friends, neighbours colleagues - when they need it most, with love and always without charge.
It’s only through kind gifts, thoughtful donations and other magnificent fundraising efforts that we are able to keep doing what we do so well: helping individuals with an end-of-life diagnosis, and their families, get the most from the last chapter of their lives.
Services include a ten-bedded in-patient unit and a Living Well outpatient support centre which delivers specialist support designed to enable patients to live at home as well as they can for as long as they can.
We also deliver specialist bereavement support which includes the ‘Reflect’ child counselling service which supports bereaved children and young adults aged 4-18 across Chester and West Cheshire.
It is here that the hospice doctors of tomorrow come to learn what it is to care for patients and families at their most frightened and vulnerable, and how to excel at doing so.
