This event takes you on a trail through a variety of breathtaking landscapes, including serene tree-lined paths, sweeping views, and solid, well-maintained trails that make for a comfortable and enjoyable hike. The route begins and ends at QECP, exploring its expansive off-road trail network.

You’ll venture beyond the park to explore the ancient woodland at Head Down, before joining the iconic South Downs Way. From there, both hiking routes loop back towards QECP, passing along the famous Milky Way trail—one of the area’s most beloved routes.

Once back inside the park, all routes converge to take you through War Down, where you’ll follow gravel, weatherproof trails lined with trees, offering a tranquil escape. This is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and let your mind wander while you rack up the kilometers.

This event offers a variety of terrains, from woodland and gravel paths to scenic hilltops, all with views that will inspire and refresh. It’s an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the South Downs, no matter your experience or fitness level.
