Thousands of seafarers worldwide are away from their families every Christmas – but this year, an estimated 300,000 seafarers are stranded at sea globally due to the pandemic, unable to return home to their loved ones for the festive season.
Show your appreciation for seafarers in need by taking on the Seafarers UK Virtual Santa Dash 2020. Complete the distance of 5K, your way and spread some festive cheer!
There are just 4 easy steps to taking part:
1. Plan your 5K route and secure your place below. Run, walk, cycle, skip, jump, anything goes!
2. Set up a JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving page and spread the word to encourage friends and family to support you or sign up too
3. Complete 5K, your way, any time between now and 25 December 2020 (don’t forget to track your attempt)
