We specialise in using adventure and the outdoors to support children with social, emotional or mental health difficulties, or those living in especially challenging home circumstances - many have experienced homelessness, domestic violence, the loss of a parent, or other forms of trauma, adversity, or harm. We help these children to change their stories about who they are, and who they can be.
We do this via the power of the outdoors, overnight adventures and nature based residentials. Children who've never left their area of London before lead night walks through the woods, canoe down rivers and camp out under the stars.
For those with the highest needs, we use the relationships of trust built round the campfire to offer longer term support via local mentoring or our year-round 'Journey Programme'. And when children become too old for our main projects we help them train as Young Leaders, returning to pass on their newfound skills and confidence to benefit younger peers.
We need your help - every pound you raise will support particularly vulnerable children to change their stories about who they are, and what they can achieve.
