This popular half marathon sees runners take on generous, closed roads across the towns of Old Trafford, Stretford & Brooklands, with the promise of great support and an abundance of entertainment en route.
The Manchester Half Marathon hosts a very flat course, perfect for smashing personal bests but also the ideal route for those new to half marathons and charity runners. There is a lovely 2-mile flat finish that brings you to the conclusion of the event at Emirates Old Trafford Lancashire County Cricket Club.
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust inspires young people aged 8-24 to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer through sailing and outdoor adventure.
For many young people simply picking up where they left off before their diagnosis just isn’t possible. So, when treatment ends the Trust’s work begins.
