The ABP Newport Wales Half
It takes place alongside the ABP Newport Wales Marathon, which has been expanded into an exciting festival of running with marathon, half marathon, 10K and junior race options.
The half marathon has a flat and fast course, starting and finishing in the heart of the city on Newport’s vibrant riverfront and take in the stunning scenery of the nearby Gwent Levels.
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust inspires young people aged 8-24 to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer through sailing and outdoor adventure.
For many young people simply picking up where they left off before their diagnosis just isn’t possible. So, when treatment ends the Trust’s work begins.
