Deafblind UK supports people affected by deafblindness across the UK to lead the lives they want. We provide practical and emotional support to thousands of people living with sight and hearing loss each year – rebuilding confidence, reducing isolation, and enabling people with deafblindness to thrive, empowered by knowledge, support and equity.
We achieve this vision through the provision of holistic care and assistance, pioneering research, transformative education, influential advocacy, and innovative technology integration.
A 2022 report estimates there are more than 450,000 people living with deafblindness in the UK. And, with an ageing population, this figure is expected to increase to 610,000 by 2035.
But, with your kind support we can continue to be there for everyone who needs us now, and in the future. Together, we can make the world a better place for thousands of people living with dual sensory loss in the UK. Together, we can change lives.
