Our mission is to champion the latest and most authoritative research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity so that we can help people make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk. We also work to influence policy at the highest level and are a trusted advisor to governments and other official bodies from around the world. Cancer currently affects one in two people in the UK but about a third of the most common cancers could be prevented through eating a healthy diet, being physically active and maintaining a healthy weight. That’s around 80,000 cancer-free lives!
