Up to 40% of clothes are never sold. What happens to them?
Thread Ahead provides brand new clothes, toiletries and accessories to refugees and asylum seekers. The items may be excess stock, customer returns, sample pieces or could have (very) minor production faults.
People with insecure immigration status (like asylum seekers) often have poor access to clothes.
We take this excess stock and run events where people with insecure immigration status are able to choose items for free.
