Teach First is a national education charity that is fighting to make the education system work for the country’s most disadvantaged young people.

Potential is equally spread across the country. But young people from disadvantaged backgrounds don’t start with the same chances and that inequality continues throughout childhood.

Schools and teachers can make the biggest difference. But they need champions. That’s why we’ve been providing lasting solutions to schools serving disadvantaged communities for 20 years.

Working with schools, we support them to change the system by creating great teachers, brilliant leaders, and thriving schools in a positive policy environment. Through our suite of programmes, we’ve trained more than 14,000 teachers and have positively impacted over 1.5 million young people across England and Wales to date.
