Everyday St Teresa's Hospice cares for patients and families across Darlington, South Durham and North Yorkshire, free of charge. Our mission is to support people living with a life-limiting illness by helping them live as well as possible, for as long as possible.
When her mum Gill was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Charlotte helped care for her at home until she was moved to St Teresa’s. She said: “When we got mum into St Teresa’s we could all relax. We didn’t have to worry about keeping mum safe and we got to spend quality time with her. We felt enveloped in love and care. They make the process so much easier and helped us cope with her death – they are like guardian angels.”
It costs £8,148 per day to run all our services. We can only continue to provide care due to the incredible generosity of our local community and supporters like you.
