St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity, each year supporting more than 12,000 people
across Lincolnshire affected by a life-limiting or terminal illness.
No matter how many days, weeks or months someone has left, St Barnabas is committed to helping
people live as fully as they are able to - delivering free, dignified and compassionate care.
Their Inpatient Units in Lincoln and Grantham are open every day of the year. In a bright, homely
environment, St Barnabas offer specialist, round-the-clock nursing care to patients with complex
conditions.
Equally, many people with a terminal diagnosis want to be cared for in the comfort of their own
home, spending precious time with loved ones. St Barnabas’ Hospice at Home team support this
choice and work 365 days a year to care for patients in their homes.
St Barnabas is also a vital source of support and comfort to family members and loved ones at the
most difficult of times. The Wellbeing team helps grieving families, friends and carers by offering
counselling, bereavement support, social groups, spiritual care and advice around welfare and
benefits.
